Any parents feel the way I do right now? So much going on, having snow days, so many assignments to turn in, it can all be a blur. I try to make things as easy as possible for you because I know you have your own life other than your child's school work. But we also have to remember, these precious kids of ours, is our future!! Today in your child's homework folder, I sent home a checklist of things that need to be turned in. To make it easy, finish the checklist for Monday and it can be off your shoulders!!
We will have a math test next Wednesday so students will be bringing home a review sheet either Monday or Tuesday. We have been working really hard understanding fractions, plotting them on a number line and figuring out which fraction is bigger.
Also next week, we will be working our way into Social Studies unit of Economics. I think the students will really like this unit because it talks about how our money system works. Don't worry parents, I'll let them know money doesn't grow on our backyard trees:) hehe We will also be working on our individual state project, which they will do their PowerPoint in class, but then their poster at home:)
Parents, if you ever have questions, please call me or e-mail me!!
